During Toronto Tech Week 2026, Alianza Latina brought together community members, technology leaders, students, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and AI practitioners to promote a more inclusive and responsible AI ecosystem. The organization hosted Building Our Future in AI: Power, Inclusion, and What Comes Next, featuring a keynote conversation with Chenayi Mutambasere, a panel on Building Inclusive AI Futures, and a Dragon’s Den-style showcase of AI projects developed during the Vibe Coding Hackathon. Through these activities, Alianza Latina fostered collaboration, highlighted community innovation, and empowered underrepresented communities to actively participate in shaping the future of artificial intelligence.
